I am suspicious where they learned to meow to music. After I did some digging, it was discovered that there has been excessive hours of cat and dog play at our house. Just tonight I watched Jocelyn bark at the feet of Aaliyah’s stool and beg for food. So what did Aaliyah do, well drop some of her veggie sticks on the floor for Jocelyn to lick up. If I wasn’t so worried about how dirty my floors were I would have told Jocelyn to just go ahead and eat everything else she could find under the breakfast bar.
I remember when I was a kid we use to sing the word watermelon when we didn’t know the words to songs. The girls had their own word, “meow”. I couldn’t keep from laughing. I watched everyone around me chuckle and wonder what the heck they were doing. Ethan ratted me out when he spotted me in the audience. He yelled “Oh, hey mom!” which lead to a spectacle of “Mommy! Mommy! Hi Mommy! Mom, you’re here!” These sweet statements are normal from the kids on stage and make people smile, but in my case it was a loud chorus of kids pointing and yelling at me. I was seen and they knew that I was the Mommy Cat.
