Sleeping....well, I am happy to report that the girls have figured out the difference between night and day. We have had them sleeping consistently for 6-7 hours for the past two weeks. Last night they went down at 10pm and I woke them up at 5:30am for their morning feeding. Even though E and B were sleeping through the night by 8 weeks I still think the girls might be a little less fussy. Prior to the girls birth I was expecting this second run to be a little more bumpy than the first time. We just felt so blessed with E and B's temperament and ability to sleep through the night. I thought for sure the girls were not going to follow suit and honestly when we started this I thought my initial prediction was correct. However, we have turned a corner....the girls are angels (E and B were outstanding too!). They don't cry often at all. Even in the morning when they want to let me know they are awake they more squawk than send out a loud, ear piercing scream.
One of the best parts is that the girls are starting to smile and coo. They are talkers and love to interact. That is when we have the time to sit and talk back to them. Those swings have never gotten so much use. The girls still have their red hair, long eye lashes, and big chubby cheeks. They are perfect!
